My Story
In 2022, I was navigating my own health challenges and was encouraged by my doctor to follow a gluten- and dairy-free diet. Like many parents, I wanted to do what was best for my family, so I turned to well-known “healthy” brands and began making gluten-free pancakes for us at home.
We ate them often — almost every morning for a year.
Over time, I began looking more closely at the ingredient labels and realized many of these products were filled with gums, fillers, and additives I wasn’t comfortable serving to my family. What I thought was a healthier choice didn’t align with what I believed real nourishment should be.
That realization was the turning point.
I started creating a simple alternative using clean, organic ingredients — something soft-baked, satisfying, and naturally delicious without relying on unnecessary additives. That idea became Get Uglee Cakes.
Get Uglee is organic, gluten-free, and dairy-free — made with intention, integrity, and care. It’s a reminder that real quality isn’t about perfection on the outside, but honesty on the inside.

The Get Uglee monster was created by my twelve-year-old son. We wanted the brand to feel playful and approachable — something that invites curiosity rather than perfection.
Our monster stands for authenticity. We don’t hide behind a polished exterior or complicated ingredients. What’s inside is what defines us — and always will.
